Subject: Just a suggestion

Hi Tom,

one thing I've been meaning to suggest for a while, is would it be possible to add the ability to KMotion, whereby users could label the IO tables?

One thing I keep finding when setting things up, is I have to either remember to keep a copy of the allocated IOs nearby (which normally gets buried/lost!), or have to check through the c file headers to check for the bit numbers. It would be handy if it was possible to edit the descriptions, so it's just a case of scanning through the IO tables to find the required bit.

I guess it will probably too involved to do, but if I never ask, I'll never know!

Thanks

Moray

Hi Moray,

Duly noted.  You aren't the first person to request this, but it isn't high on our priority list as KMotion should be just a one time configuration/test tool.  It isn't expected to be used on a daily basis like an Operator Application.  You could probably modify the screens yourself with a windows resource editor.
